The Integration for Elementor forms Asana plugin doesn’t need alot of setup and is pretty easy to use as of now. With the information below you should be able to set everything up in a few steps.

How to create a task

So here are a few steps in how to setup the asana action.

  1. Download and install the plugin via the plugin repository or manually via this url.
  2. After the install go to your page where you want to setup the create tasks form.
  3. Insert the form and setup all fields as usual. Be sure your field contains: task name and task description field. Also change the ID of these field to something easy to manage for example “taskname” “taskdescription”.
  4. In the menu Action after submit select the “Asana” action.
  5. Now the Asana tab appears. Open this tab.
  6. Here you see some input fields. In all these fields we need to set the Asana data and form field ID’s we set in step 3. It will be something easy like “taskname” and “taskdescription” or when setting a new field it defaults to something like “field_7c6e5bb” enter all these fields here. 
  7. The Asana fields looks a bit confusing but is easy to setup. First we need an API key. you can find this here. Create a personal token and copy it to the API input field. 
  8. Next we need to setup the workspace ID. You can find this here when logged in in asana. Copy the GID value.
  9. Next we need to setup the project ID. You can find this here when logged in in asana. Copy the GID value.
  10. Next we need to setup the assignee ID. You can find this here when logged in in asana. Copy the GID value.
  11. After setting up all these fields click update and you are all set. When a user submits the form they will create a task with the with that data in Asana.
